      Ray came to The Peninsula Club in November 2012 after spending eight years as the Chief Operating Officer/GM at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, NC. He brings to us over 30 years of experience in the field of hospitality that has encompassed a wide range of experiences. His employment history includes, Bank of America, Bermuda Run Country Club in Bermuda Run, NC, Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, FL. and as a restauranteur in Charlotte, NC.

      Under Ray’s leadership, the staff will provide the members with the highest quality facilities, programs and a focus on service excellence.

      Priscilla Eich joined The Peninsula Club staff in 2006. She brings with her over 20 years accounting experience. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in accounting and received her CPA in North Carolina in 1984. She enjoys spending time with her family and accompanying them on the golf course.

      Maureen returns to The Peninsula Club bringing over twenty-years of experience in the private club industry and over thirteen in the membership/marketing area. Maureen began her career here at The Peninsula Club in 1992 and was here until 2007. In 2007, she moved to Ballantyne Country Club where she was the Membership and Marketing Director for six and a half years.

      Maureen earned her Certified Marketing Professional certification (CMP) through the Professional Club Marketing Association (PCMA) in 2011, and her Master Certified Marketing Professional Certification in September, 2013. Currently, she serves as President of the Greater Charlotte Chapter of PCMA. When she is not working, Maureen enjoys spending time with her family, and is very active in her church.

      Sarah began working at the Peninsula Club in July 2007. She attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she studied biochemistry and math. Before joining the staff, here at the Peninsula Club, she was employed for six years at Myers Park Country Club in Charlotte. Sarah couldn't bear to be cooped up in a lab and finds her work at the Peninsula Club very rewarding.

      Allyson moved to North Carolina and began working at The Peninsula Club in the winter of 2015. Originally from Atlanta, Allyson spent the majority of her working career as a corporate trainer for several large hospitality companies. Allyson has always had a deeply seeded passion for training and talent development. Throughout her career, she has always been fortunate to have mentors who contributed to her professional and personal growth. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to impact The Peninsula Club staff and encourage others to find and develop their talents and skills!
      In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time with her fiancé Christopher and two German Shepherd fur children, Persephone (“Pea”) and Merlin.

      Susie has been involved in aerobic fitness for more than thirty years, and has been working as a Certified Personal Trainer and Aerobic Instructor since 1993. Susie worked for thirteen years in Pathology as a Cytotechnologist and Histopathology Technician in both West Virginia and North Carolina.

      Chef Frank Chiasera grew up in Niagara Falls, New York. Started working in various kitchens throughout the area at fifteen years old and developed a passion for food at this time. Attended the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park New York graduating in 1992, and after two years at the prestigious University Club in Jackson, Mississippi accepted the position of Executive Sous Chef at The Harbor Club in Charleston South Carolina. And after three years was promoted into the Executive Chef position while winning private club of the year for 1997 and 1998. In 2000 became Executive Chef of the Citrus Club in Orlando Florida which is a private dining club hosting many upscale high profile events. Colleton River Plantation became the next stop in 2008. A Platinum Club with two full sized clubhouses and two 18 hole golf courses overseeing the Atlantic Ocean where the food was described as creative, with all ingredients blending well in an artistically presented fashion. In 2011 accepted a position at The Peninsula Club on Lake Norman North Carolina.

      Elizabeth has been in the catering industry for nine years. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, Elizabeth worked at Federal City Caterers, a fast-paced catering company in Washington, DC, for six years. She relocated to the Carolinas to be closer to family and friends and upon arriving in Charlotte, she took a position as the Catering Sales Manager at La tea da's Catering & Events. Her experience in both the Charlotte and DC markets gives her clients access to unique service styles, progressive menu and beverage options and many other diverse catering and event planning concepts. Elizabeth's love for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and galas makes her a great addition to the team along with her love for all things events.

      Amanda Petruski

      Amanda has worked in the hospitality industry for over ten years. She discovered a true passion for catering while in high school through exposure by different off-site events. After moving to West Virginia for college, she was able to gain further understanding of the industry at Erickson Alumni Center banquet facility of West Virginia University. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree in 2010, she decided to remain in the area and accepted a full time position working for the University at the Erickson Alumni Center as their Catering Supervisor and Bar Manager.

      After five years of heavy Industry exposure she felt the need to return to her southern roots to spend more time with friends and family. Upon arriving, she took a short break from catering, and ventured into the world of restaurant management. She worked as a Restaurant Supervisor at The Charlotte Hornets fine dining restaurant, located in Time Warner Cable Arena. Amanda joined The Peninsula Club team in July of 2014 and is thankful for the experiences she has had there. She looks forward to contributing her creativity, and excitement for banquets to the club and all of its events.  Amanda feels privileged to be a part of such a great team and with her contagious smile, she is a true pleasure to work with at The Peninsula Club!

      Ed is a native Charlottean who has been with the Club since May, 2000 and has been a part of the Food & Beverage Management team since 2008. Ed has gained much experience at the Peninsula over the years, including serving, bartending, banquets, restaurant supervision and management. Currently, he is operating the beverage program and participating in the management of Mulligans. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree from UNC Charlotte and is always looking for ways to continue learning and growing personally and professionally. Away from work, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife Emily and his two children, Dayna and Drew.


      Ruby Wise

      Ruby Wise joins The Peninsula Club as a Restaurant Manager. Ruby was most recently employed at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Airport as a Food and Beverage Manager. Her responsibilities included overseeing the Front of the House, Back of the House, Room Service Bar and Banquets. Ruby was born in the Philippines. She later moved to Philadelphia where she was employed by the Four Seasons Hotel for over seven years. She then worked in the Marriott City Center in Charlotte for 8 years. Her training at the Marriott enabled her to become a certified staff trainer; she received numerous awards for providing excellence in service to her guests.

      Ruby enjoys spending time with her husband Francois and their three children Vanessa, Francois, Jr. and Edward and her mother, Nita. We are thrilled to have Ruby join our Food and Beverage Team.

      After leaving the US Navy, Adam went back to the restaurant business where his passion for wine and beer grew. Spending the last 9 years at Sullivan’s Steakhouse, he rose through the ranks and served the last three years as Beverage Director. He became a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and is a two-time winner of the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. He is currently pursuing the Advanced Sommelier certification as well as Certified Cicerone. During his free time, he enjoys hiking with his wife, Jessica, and 4 dogs.


      Kelsey Oliver

      Born and raised in East Tennessee, Kelsey found a passion for service very early in life. She began her hospitality career serving and bartending in high-volume restaurants. During that time, a professor introduced her to the world of private club management and mentorship. She successfully completed a summer internship with the Coral Bay Club where she fell in love with the job, people and overall atmosphere of private clubs. Following this, Kelsey also completed a second hospitality internship as a Food & Beverage Supervisor at the Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head while commuting to finish her degree. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Hospitality Management. Kelsey is extremely excited to provide above-and-beyond service and dining experiences to the members and guests of The Peninsula Club. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys cooking, exploring, and spending time in the mountains with her family, friends, and dogs.



      Nicole Ippolito

      Nicole graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Food and Beverage Management. During her tenure at Johnson and Wales, she took time off to study at the German Wien School in Koblenz, Germany where she received her German Wine Fundamentals Levels 1 & 2 Certification. This accomplishment sparked her passion to pursue the Master Sommelier Certification. After two years of training and dedication, Nicole obtained a Diploma of Certified Sommelier from the International Sommelier Guild.

      Nicole began her management career with the Savannah Red in the Marriott City Center in Uptown Charlotte where she held the position of Restaurant Supervisor. During her time at Marriott City Center, she implemented monthly wine dinners, events for clients and supervised the beverage programs for five different restaurant concepts.

      Most recently, Nicole served as Assistant General Manager of the Wooden Vine Bistro and Wine Bar where she facilitated the creation of a wine list which achieved the 2015 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

      Nicole is excited to join the Food and Beverage Team and is looking forward to bringing her exceptional service and wine knowledge to members and their guests at The Peninsula Club.

      Ryan joined The Peninsula Club team in July 2011 from his position as Restaurant Manager and Beverage Manager at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro Georgia. Prior to Reynolds Plantation, Ryan was the Clubhouse Manager of The Lansing Country Club. With over 18 years experience in the Food and Beverage Industry, Ryan is excited to serve The Peninsula Club membership. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Dawn, their daughter Olivia, and their dog “Porter".

      Brian is originally from Ohio and has been a PGA Member since April of 1997. He started his golf career as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. He then spent four years as Head Golf Professional at the Addison Reserve Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Over the past nine years Brian has been the Head Golf Professional and General Manager at Rattlesnake Ridge Golf Club in Sunbury, Ohio. Brian lives in Cornelius with his wife, Leigh Ann (an LPGA Member) and his 3 children.

      Linda was born and raised in York, PA. She attended The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill on a full golf scholarship and was the team’s 1st All-American women’s golfer. Currently, she is a Class A member of both the PGA of America and the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division. Linda has been with The Peninsula Club since 2002 and has enjoyed teaching members and their guests. Her passion has been in developing the Junior Golf Program at the Club, and loves to teach all ages and skill levels.

       

      Chris Cravotta

      Chris grew up in Heidelberg, Germany and learned the game of golf during his summers at Kingsmill Resort and Country Club in Williamsburg, Virginia. Chris started his golf career at Paradise Valley Golf Course in Fairfied, CA. He received most of his golf professional training at top private clubs in South Florida where he served as a Tournament Director and Assistant Golf Professional in the fast paced, hustle and bustle of Florida clubs. As his career progressed, he moved to the Broken Sound Club in Boca Raton and Hunters Run Golf and Racquet Club in Boynton Beach. Based on his expertise, Chris then was appointed as Head Golf Professional at Martin Downs Golf Club in Palm City.

      Since August of 2014, Chris has served the membership at Greenwood Country Club as their Head Golf Professional. In addition to being a club professional and gifted instructor, Chris is also a USGA certified tournament administrator and a Titleist Club Fitting Professional. Chris also loves working with Juniors, a skill he acquired while working as a camp counselor in Maine during college. Chris, his wife Lauren and daughter Cooper, are excited to be a part of the Cornelius community.

      Joe is originally from Virginia. He attended Bluefield College (VA) where he was a member of the golf team. In 1999 he began his golf career at The Galax Country Club as a pro-shop manager. He changed careers and was an Account Executive in the Specialty Grocery Industry for 13 years. In 2014 he returned to chase his passion in golf and started as a cart attendant here at the Peninsula Club. He is currently working toward becoming a Class A Golf Pro through the PGA Program.

      Eddie Shaner

      Eddie comes to us from Georgia. He attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia where he was the assistant to the head coach for the football team. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. Moved to the Charlotte area in 2000 taking a job as a Health and Physical Education Teacher and Assistant Football Coach at West Charlotte High School. A year later he joined the faculty at Hopewell High School. While teaching and coaching at Hopewell High School he earned his Master’s Degree in Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. In the Fall of 2003, Eddie began his eleven year School Administration Career at A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, North Carolina as an Assistant Principal. In the Fall of 2006, Eddie Returned to Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System and Hopewell High School as an Assistant Principal. While in CMS, he has been an assistant principal at several other CMS high schools. He is married and has three sons.

      Jared has been working in the turfgrass industry since he was 16 years old. Discovering that he could turn his love for the game of golf into a life-long career, he obtained his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Purdue University. He also studied at The University of Aberystwyth in Wales, UK for one semester.

      Jared has worked on many exclusive golf courses across the world including The Kampen Golf Course at Purdue University, The Chevy Chase Club in Washington DC, The Honors Course in Ooltewah, TN and St. Andrews Links and Trust in Scotland. Most recently he was the Course Superintendent at The Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill, GA near Hilton Head Island SC.

      Along with his work experiences, Jared has volunteered/assisted in tournament preparations for NCAA Championships, British Open, U.S. Open, U.S. Mid-Amateur, U.S. Senior Amateur and other various PGA Events.

      Originally from Westchester County, NY, Monica ventured down south to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC in 2005. Receiving her BA in Journalism and Mass Communications, Monica spent the last several years sharpening her professional skills while working as an Event Coordinator with the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Monica’s background of events ranges from cotillion balls and bridal shows to business meetings and fashion shows. When she’s not collaborating with clients on upcoming events, Monica enjoys spending time with family and friends, experiencing new places through travel and cheering on the Gamecocks. Monica is thrilled to begin this new position at The Peninsula Club and cannot wait to make each event experience, for members and their guests, an unforgettable one!

      Brian and his wife moved to Mooresville in 2000. He had been in charge of maintenance and grounds keeping at a church in Ridgefield, Connecticut for 20 years and thought the time was right to move a bit further south to enjoy the better weather. Brian and Kathy have four grown children and five grandsons. Three of their children and two grandsons live here. The rest live in Arizona.
      For the past twelve years Brian has been with The Point (now Trump National). He started as a Facilities Tech and when the Facilities Manager moved on, Brian was asked to take the position. He enjoyed working at The Point. Brian learned quite a lot and made many friends while there. He is very pleased to now be with The Peninsula Club. Brian is excited to lead the maintenance and housekeeping staff to provide the Membership with a safe and beautiful club facility.

      Starting at the age of four, Sean has had tennis running through his veins. Sean began playing tennis in his own backyard. With both parents fully certified to teach, Sean's tennis background began. While a junior, Sean was able to establish a national ranking of #18 in the 18 and under division. He played collegiate tennis on full scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill where he captained the team which reached a final #7 ranking in the NCAAs. After college, Sean's passion for the game took him abroad where he coached in Italy, later returning stateside to teach on Hilton Head Island for several years. Sean then took a position at Westwood, a private club in Richmond in 1995 where he eventually became director of an intense program for over 10 yrs. In addition to holding over 25 state singles and doubles championships Sean holds the record of 8 city championships.

      Markus comes to us from Barclay Downs. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he began playing tennis at the age of 7. His family moved to the U.S. in 1994 where he played high school tennis in Florida. Markus earned a scholarship to Belmont Abbey College. He was 2nd Team all-conference his junior year and 1st Team all-conference his senior year. Markus joined the Peninsula Club in 2012. He is USPTA Certified and speaks four languages.

      Harris Trismen

      Harris Trismen is a teaching pro and competitive player from Middletown, New Jersey. He began playing tennis at age three coached by his father Harry Trismen, who has for thirty years been a USPTA and PTR certified pro. Harris competed as a junior throughout his school years and upon graduation, he relocated to Florida to pursue playing professional tennis. Harris has played multiple events on the ITF Pro Circuit, including futures and challengers, and has played against players ranked as high as 400 in the world. His previous work experience includes The Boca Grande Club, Florida, as well as Hay Harbor Club on Fishers Island in New York. In 2015, Harris made his move to North Carolina and was employed at the Lake Norman Tennis Center prior to coming on board with The Peninsula Club. Harris is ready to bring his knowledge of the game and his energetic attitude to the tennis program!

      Claire is native to the Lake Norman area. Having attended The University of Alabama, Claire moved back to the area and started working at The Peninsula Club three years ago. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her 2 dogs, taking fitness classes and cheering on The Tide. Claire keeps up with the latest in tennis and athletic wear and would love to help you find a new look or racquet that you will be sure to love!
