Men’s Member Guest Tournament
In the midst of summer unfolding, 48 members and their guests gathered at The Peninsula Club to kick off the 2004 Men’s Member-Guest Tournament. This annual tournament consisted of eight flights of six two-man teams competing for three days in a total of five nine hole matches, to declare a winner within each flight. Special events in the tournament included a closest to the pin contest on holes 4, 7, and 12, the longest putt on hole 16, a putting contest, and a blind draw. Read More...

Peninsula Club hosts Golf Pride’s Jr. Classic
Future professional golfers from over twelve states will come together at The Peninsula Club in Cornelius, North Carolina on July 19-22 to compete for the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) Golf Pride Junior Classic. This is the third annual AJGA classic to be held at Lake Norman’s Peninsula Club golf course.

Dare to test your extreme limits on Lake Norman this summer? Young Peninsula Club campers stepped up to the challenge at this year’s Peninsula Wet and Wild Watersports Camp. "Chili, chili, hands up…" these were the sounds of the campers echoing from the pool area at the Pre-school Mini Camp. According to Laurie Owens, Camp Coordinator, this song and dance was a favorite among the children.

Where would one find a greased watermelon contest, a red white and blue golf scramble, eager tennis players decked out in stars and stripes and parents laughing as their kids are dunked underwater? The Peninsula Club’s Fourth of July Extravaganza. The Club displayed its patriotic spirit, hosting a fun filled day of festive events for members and friends.
